SkyPort Awarded Exclusive Contract for Emergency Response Solutions Throughout the State of Texas

July 22, 2009 – HOUSTON, TEXAS – SkyPort Global Communications announced today that it was awarded the exclusive contract for delivery of iDirect solutions and broadband for all Texas based emergency response and state agencies.
The Texas State agency after an extended bidding process awarded SWS of Dallas the contract to deliver multiple wireless solutions to all State of Texas first and emergency response organization. In turn, SWS awarded the satellite requirement exclusively to SkyPort using the iDirect platform. The Texas State agency is also a collaborative organization delivering services to eighteen other states.
