Roger Klotz, CEO & PresidentPatrick K. Brant, President & CEO

Mr. Brant is president and CEO of SkyPort. A global leader in communications, he has more than 20 years’ high technology experience in management, sales, operations and finance. He leads SkyPort with a clear focus on excellence, commitment, and growth. His latest success was Loral Skynet, a satellite operating firm that provides managed network services to Fortune 1000 enterprises. As the president and CEO he led Loral Skynet out of Chapter 11, improved EBITDA 8 fold, increased Skynet’s valuation to over $800 million and orchestrated the purchase of Telesat for $3 billion.

Before joining Loral Skynet, Pat served as president of Controlsat and as a senior director for Orbital Communications, the first provider of global data services via low earth orbit (LEO) satellites. At Controlsat, an Orbital global data services business unit, he crafted and implemented the company’s business plan and oversaw the development of the marketing, international sales, customer service and operational infrastructure. Pat has also held senior positions with Eyretel and American Mobile Satellite (AMSC). As vice president of sales and marketing at Eyretel, he increased profitability by 202% by spearheading efforts to expand sales and marketing operations for voice and data products, and ramp up sales with an aggressive marketing and indirect distribution strategy. As general manager at American Mobile Satellite, Pat designed and directed sales and marketing strategies for innovative mobile voice and data products. He also developed AMSC’s “first service network” business plan that resulted in orders for over 10,000 data terminals worth more than $50 million and a successful IPO.

Mr. Skimmons is SkyPort’s chief operating officer. A 20+ year veteran of the technology and communications industry, Mr. Skimmons brings a wealth of experience in international business, executive leadership, team building, complex project management and general management to SkyPort.

Previously, Brian held many positions with Loral Skynet including vice president and CIO. Most recently he was general manager, managed network services for Loral Skynet where he led the managed services revenue, products and functional resources. He was responsible for developing and implementing a plan for the major restructuring of Skynet's global service business. His plan was so effective; it reduced headcount by 50%, reduced infrastructure costs by 40%, retired legacy products, released new services and sold off non-profitable contracts. The result was revenue stabilization, an increased backlog and a positive EBITDA. Brian has also held management level positions with Seneca Corporation and Fannie Mae. Most notably, while at Seneca, he designed the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) global network.

His career began with the United States Navy, serving 10 years of active duty as an information systems officer, security officer and project manager with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was responsible for coordinating with national-level intelligence agencies for operations, network security and expansion while managing system development projects.

Rick Davis, Senior VP Business Development Michael Polmar , Vice President of Sales

Mr. Polmar is vice president of sales for SkyPort. He is a dynamic and entrepreneurial sales and operations senior executive with a 19-year track record of success, providing award-winning sales leadership in highly competitive markets.  He is tenacious in building new business, improving sales-team performance, securing customer loyalty and forging strong relationships with external business partners.

Before joining SkyPort, Mr. Polmar was business development and marketing director for SAIC’s Intelligence and Information Solutions business. At SAIC he closed over $500M in new business, led department reorganizations and expanded the business development team from 2 employees to 19.

Between 2002 and 2006, Mr. Polmar was the sales center vice president for AT&T Government Solutions. At AT&T, he directed all network and managed services sales activity for the Intelligence Community, Federal Law Enforcement and Department of Homeland Security. His achievements at AT&T included increasing year-over-year billed revenue 41% in 2003, 53% in 2004, and 45% in 2005; closing new sales revenue exceeding $500M for the two-year period ending December 2005; and receiving the Leaders Council Award in 2004 (AT&T’s highest recognition).

Mr. Semenach brings over 15 years of successful product and technical management with top Fortune 500 companies including E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, General Electric, General Dynamics Corporation and Loral Space and Communications, Ltd. 

Before joining SkyPort, Mr. Semenach held the position of director of product management at Spacenet Inc., from 2004 to 2007.  Prior to that, he served as global product manager for Loral CyberStar, Inc. from 2000 to 2003.  Before joining Loral CyberStar, Mr. Semenach held technical and customer support positions at E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, General Electric and General Dynamics Corporation.  

Mr. Semenach holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
